The Parent Center Voice in DC

The National Coalition of Parent Centers (NCPC) is the only organization that solely represents the interests of Parent Centers as authorized under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The NCPC ensures that the Parent Center voice is heard in Washington! The NCPC works to protect and expand funding for Parent Centers as well as represent Parent Centers on relevant issues pertaining to children with disabilities such as IDEA and the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB).

The National Coalition of Parent Centers, founded in 1996, is an ad‐hoc group supported by private funds. Because we do not maintain an office, all funds go directly to issues important to Parent Centers and families.
